About Our Dentists

Dr. Rod Zimmerman, DDS

Dr. Rod Zimmerman has practiced general dentistry in Mandarin, Florida for over 30 years. He earned his Biological Science Degree with Cum Laude Honors at University of California, Irvine, and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from McGill University in 1984. Dr. Z. successfully received his General Practice Certification from University of Florida.

Dr. Z, or who has become known as “A Smile by Z” attributes his practice success to always putting the patient first. Dr. Z, still feels that it is the personal service and the attentive needs, particularly catering to the dental coward, which is most important when treating his patients. Dr. Z believes that true-to-the-heart comments and valuing his dental-patient relationships is what makes dentistry a rewarding and an enjoyable career.

Dr. Frank Zimmerman, DMD

Dr. Frank Zimmerman DMD, Dr. Rod's son is the next generation’s dentist here at A Smile Resort. He earned his Biochemistry Degree with Cum Laude Honors at the Harriet L Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Florida. He successfully completed his dental school education at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2020, receiving his  Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree.

Dr. Frank Z truly believes the patient always comes first. The most important part of Dentistry is the value built in the relationship between the dentist and the patient. He truly feels treating everyone as their family will yield the most honest, ethical, and quality care to the patients dental needs. He is here for you.
